The University of Arizona is hiring 2 postdocs and 1 PhD student

Dr. Lu is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy (Ranked #6 in NIH funding and #20 in US News and World Report), The University of Arizona, a member of the Association of American Universities (AAU), a distinction to only 66 North America's premier research institutions.

The overarching goal of the Lu lab strives to develop innovative, safe, and efficacious therapeutics at the interface of drug delivery, synthetic chemistry, pharmaceutics, nanotechnology, and tumor immunology to address the pressing unmet needs in current cancer and other diseases therapy and prevention, particularly in the emerging field of combination immunochemotherapy. Dr. Lu’s research work has been published in Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Biomaterials, etc. Visit Lu lab website at: https://jianqinlu.wixsite.com/jianqinlu

Two postdoc positions are available. Candidates should be equipped with strong medicinal and/or bioconjugationchemistry skill, and the ability to design and synthesize novel drug conjugates, and/or expertise on drug deliveryand nanomedicine (liposome, polymeric and core-shell nanoparticles), in vitro and in vivo characterizations and therapeutic efficacy studies in tumor, heart and/or Alzheimer's disease animal models.

One PhD student position is available. Candidates should have training in medicinal chemistry, orpharmaceutics, drug delivery, and nanomedicine. Candidates with first author publication(s) in related fields is preferable.
