科研课题介绍
The student will be involved in two projects.
1. Opinion leaders in Chinese media
This project aims at identifying opinion leaders cited in news media in China. The student will participate in the content analysis of news articles. Through this project, the student will get a general picture of a research project, and basic research methods for communication studies.
2. Communication theories in daily life
The student will be learning several fundamental theories in communication studies and relating them to daily life. Based on thorough understanding of the theories, the student will produce articles or short videos that explain the theories to the general public. This project will familiarize the student with theories and practical skills in media production.
